IC believes in hands-on service and training. Accordingly, IC provides training in advance of every placement that includes any of the following that apply:
- US immigration law relating to visa processing, inspections, conditions of status in the US, potential (if applicable) for change of employment or status, and consequences of violations
- US employer manuals, requirements, policies and other job-related matters
- Preparation for living in the US (transportation, banking, telephones, etc.)
- Use of (and restrictions upon) medical insurance and back-up consultations with Romanian doctors in the US (to avoid high medical costs when unnecessary)
- Customer service
- “Survival English” for non-English speakers
- US taxation (withholding of federal, state, and Social Security taxes)
